It's sort of fragile, because having your Lens blown up on you (and it will be a big target) means being behind the curve. Extraplanar Lens+ Snow-Covered Mountains: Use only Snow-Covered Mountains in your deck and get it "Imprinted" by the Lens, now only you can benefit for twice the amount of land on turn 3. Ashnod's Altar+ Nim Deathmantle+ETB creature with at least one token: infinite ETB triggers, and if the ETB creature produces more than one, you also have infinite mana! Basilisk Collar+ Goblin Sharpshooter: Amazing Board wipe combo. Also can set you up with a deadly combo with Empty the Warrens. Grinning Ignus+ Ruby Medallion: Not an infinite combo, but lasts a good amount as long as you have to play. Lightning Crafter+ Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + 1 Goblin + sacrifice outlet= infinite damage. In turn the Mage will make a copy of Shimmer which targets and makes a copy of Mage. While on stack, use Dualcaster Mage to target Heat Shimmer. Dualcaster Mage+ Heat Shimmer: Heat Shimmer targets a creature. Zealous Conscripts+ Splinter Twin: Tap Conscripts to make a copy of itself and tap the next Conscript and make a copy and Tap that one. Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker+ Combat Celebrant: Kiki makes a copy of Combat bro which adds a combat phase and untaps Kiki to make another copy of Combat bro (Combat bro is vulnerable though). Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker+ Zealous Conscripts: Kiki makes a copy of the Conscripts which untaps Kiki to make another copy of Conscripts. Infinite Combos with cards like Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. Anyways, it's a very simple deck: just keep building up your control, draw, Purphoros comes out again, and tokens. Probably Purphoros died once or something, and that's why you're here. You need to be aggressive, because in multiplayer games, you WILL be the target. You just need Purphoros's ability to set off 20 times (in a 40 life game). Watch your devotion stay below 5 and especially your blue opponent's untapped mana! Also, try not to bring out any token ramp cards until Purphoros is out, pretty simple.īring out Purphoros. You want to protect your Commander a bit, and you want to set up for a good fight. Set up field: If you have a control or ramp card, put it out. Opening hand should have a cheap ramp to bring out Purphoros by turn 2-4.

There is no limit to how many times a player can enter the event. The event ends with either seven wins or three losses, or the scheduled end of the event (roughly one week after the start). The actual games are played versus real players - not the draft AI. The amount of basic lands is unlimited, they are provided to the player for free. Players then build 40-card-minimum decks. This continues until all cards have been picked.
This means after picking one card the pack is passed on to the next player (during the closed beta other players are replaced with an AI). Players "draft" three Packs which contain 15 cards (10 commons, 3 uncommons, and 1 rare or mythic rare, 1 basic or common land). Quick Draft follows the rules for the Draft format.
